How many times have your attendees wanted to buy a ticket at the door?
What are your alternatives? You can charge credit cards using a Square device or other credit card reader, but then you won’t really know how many tickets you sold. Or, you can accept cash, but then you’ve got to watch your cash box like a hawk.
We’ve got a new, better alternative for you. We’ve partnered with Card.io to build credit card scanning right into MogoTix for iPhone! It’s simple: just choose your event, choose a ticket type to sell, scan your attendee’s credit card, and enter his or her phone number. A mobile ticket will be sent immediately, and the attendee will be automatically checked in.
You’ll be able to charge credit cards and sell tickets, all without any additional hardware. Look for MogoTix for iPhone v2.0 on the App Store early next week.
Not all events are as simple as setting a time and offering free pizza. Many events are only possible thanks to generous sponsors, and now, you have a simple way of highlighting them.
The MogoTix event page now includes a section on the right where you can easily add the logo of your sponsor and link to their website. Have multiple sponsors? No problem–you can add as many as you like. It’s a fast and easy way to strengthen the mutually beneficial relationship between you and your sponsors.
